S'Jhavir smiled pleasingly at M'aiq's reaction, it was always good to have such a riveting audience. More specifically, he found his Speaker's reaction over the spiders incredibly amusing. He also found the irony in it, that the Brotherhood considered Mephala, also known as the Spider or the Webspinner, second only to the Night Mother and Sithis. Though he still had his doubts over if M'aiq was as defenceless as he seemed, he was fairly certain the Khajiit wasn't a plotter. A roll with the punches type of Khajiit, like most of them. S'Jhavir had once been like that, but necessity had transformed him into something...more. He was to be M'aiq's shadow, his knife, his bouncer.
He accepted the Septims with a large smile, and the Straightline Dagger with a larger one. Though he would hardly ever use it, it would make his room look better with a bit of decoration. With these Septims, he could also get himself proper furniture and clothes. "You honour S'Jhavir, honorable Speaker. Is there any other business that needs taken care of? S'Jhavir is eager and willing, as always."

M'aiq piled up his pebbles in the middle of his desk and said, "Well, the Khajiit has no more contracts at the moment. People don't want other people to die for some reason. Hmm, it'll pick up soon, he's sure. You may rest or train or whatever Silencers are supposed to do. M'aiq doesn't know. Oh, and if you see a spider, kill it for M'aiq, won't you?"
He looked down at his pebbles once more. They were so addicting to play with. He kept stacking them and restacking them. They were just so much fun. Then, he remembered he was an assassin. It was strange how often he forgot that fact. The pebbles were just so neat though...

S'Jhavir stood up and gave a slight bow of the head in respect to M'aiq, "S'Jhavir will return to his quarters, Speaker M'aiq. Call, if there is any business that needs taking care of." With a small glance at the pebbles, the Khajiit turned and left, taking his pack with him. He ascended from the basement and hastily climbed the stairs to its left. The building still looked abandoned, but all spiders and spiderwebs had been removed, presumably, and all trash, rats and litter had been disposed of. When S'Jhavir got one of those door things Cheydinhal had, the building would become a proper living area again. Since M'aiq seemed incapable of running the Sanctuary, his Silencer would have to do his work for him.
S'Jhavir's room was on the highest floor, where the old leader of the Blackwood Company had lived. He had pre-ordered the furniture he needed before he left for Skingrad, and since then had snuck in a proper bed, a chest of drawers, a display case and a chair and a desk. He had a few parchments of paper, a quill and inkwell, as well as the latest Black Horse Courier sitting on the desk. He placed the ebony knife, The Straightline Dagger, in the display case. The chest of drawers contained only his tattered green robe, but he had plans to increase his wardrobe dramatically while he stayed in Leyawiin. He intended to get a great amount of maps, as well as blueprints of the various castles and palaces in Cyrodiil, including the Imperial Palace and the Arcane University. He would have books on the Brotherhood and the Morag Tong, as well as a book on the Morrowind Government.
All in all, S'Jhavir was going to make the room the very best that was expected of a Silencer.
