Or, more accurately, flying down to Sydney. I just like that song.
Anyhoo, for those of you who don't know - I've enlisted in the Australian Army as part of the ADF Gap Year program, and will be headed off on the 12th for training. (Tomorrow! Jeebus.)
Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, my compy has been offline for service since last week. It's only recently that I've gotten back here...
So, due to my imminent absence, I won't be able to participate in the forum for quite some time. I may be back over the Christmas period for a week or so, but after that, I'll be pretty much dark. All in all, basic training runs for 80 days, and job training for 72. After all that, I'll be able to drag myself back onto the net. =D
But until then, my characters might be in a little trouble. I had planned on making some rather long-winded posts to describe what had happened to cause their disappearance, but because of the aforementioned computer woes, this did not eventuate. Instead, I've whipped up a brief summary regarding their relative indispositions.
Jiub, despite his efforts to evade his past, is finally apprehended by the Morrowind lawmen, the Ordinators. In short, he gets a bop on the head, and is carted off to Vivec to answer for his crimes.
Now for Sevan, my friendly little furball. The losses incurred in the battle with the Morag Tong crippled the Redguard, breaking his willpower and shattering his spirit. With the walls that held back his primal urges blown apart, he lost his struggle with the Lycan disease, and fled to Solthsiem - the place where it all started.
He lives now among the werewolf clans; hunting and killing, blinded by his plague. The human Sevan hardly appears any more, but even then, his virtues are far less noble. The years of self-imposed repression have spewed forth - the outcome could hardly be called favorable to anyone.
Ikagnel - well, nobody really cares about him, so I'll just stuff him in a back corner of the Crimson Scar to bum about with various blacksmithing jobs. =]
For the purpose of your own RP-ing, I'd say that Jiub's capture is well-known among the Dark Brotherhood, even though I'm sure the Ordinators would prefer to keep such an extraction quiet until they're back in Morrowind. If you want to replace his position as Speaker in my absence, feel free to do so.
Sevan's tale would not be so widely acknowledged, however, as there would be few first-hand accounts to verify his location. Rather, it would only be said that he has been missing since the big battle.
That's about as far as I want to extrude for the moment; I've gotta finish off my packing and whatnot. Best wishes to you all; I'll see ya at Christmas!
