Herius walks through the gates of Leyawiin. He has been many places during his life, but Leyawiin had not been one of them. After murdering the old commander and meeting Lucien of the Dark Brotherhood Herius was told that he could come to Leyawiin and meet Speaker M'aiq.
As he looks around he sees many people walking around having a good time. Herius had not had a good time since he was a child. The thought of having fun sickened him, or at least at the moment. He was told that he should wait in the graveyard, and he would be met my the Speaker.
Herius walks around the town until he finally found the Leyawiin graveyard. The fog surrounding it made it look even spookier. No wonder this was where they wanted to meet. Herius finds a bench and sits down as he await this M'aiq to show up.

M'aiq had been cooped up in his sanctuary for some time. He enjoyed getting out, especially at night. The graveyard of Leyawiin was one of his favorite places. The deceased were one of M'aiq's favorite type of people. They didn't judge others, and they always listened to any story, no matter how boring.
The Khajiit, donned in his favorite blue robe, pushed open the creaky iron gate, whose rust patterns were comfortingly familiar to M'aiq. As he walked past the rows of tombstones, he reached his clawed hand out and touched the top of each one.
"Dead," he muttered each time he touched one. He finally got to the last one and said suddenly, "Goose! Aha, just kidding, old friend. You are dead and cannot play childhood games with M'aiq. He would win every time."
He smiled down at the tombstone before looking up to find the man he was meeting. He appeared to be a Nord. A human, M'aiq thought in slight disappointment, but at least this one will be a human on M'aiq's side.
After a moment of his analysis, M'aiq greeted, "Hello there, good night for a walk in the graveyard. Don't you think?"

Herius looks up as he sees the Speaker he was meeting was a Khajiit. "Yes, it aroma of death calms me." Herius replied as he stood up and walked towards the Speaker.
"I am guessing you are the Speaker I was told to come here to meet right?" Herius asked to the Khajiit.

M'aiq was a bit surprised by this killer's lack of subtlety with the matter at hand. Perhaps he was simply a down-to-business, no-nonsense type of human. Of course, M'aiq was quite a nonsensical Khajiit at times, but that's just something his family accepted, or at least tolerated, about him.
"Speaker?" M'aiq said. "Yes, the Khajiit is one who talks, though not much, but M'aiq does have things to say to you."
M'aiq took a moment to seat himself on the stone wall; he jumped right up immediately as he realized that it was cold...and wet. Even though he was Speaker, a notably high rank within the Dark Brotherhood, that didn't mean he was suddenly graceful and ever-poised.
He nonchalantly wiped at the wet fabric as he spoke, "Anyway, you are here because you wish to be a part of the family, M'aiq presumes. Well, to really be accepted into the family you will have to perform a certain favor."
M'aiq cleared his throat and continued, "Outside of Leyawiin, there is a cave with a white door. In this cave dwell a number of unpleasant types. They’re trying to form a clan for Daedra, called the Bal-Acks Clan. There is a female leader that needs to be taken out. She’s a Dunmer by the name of Levala. She’s got red hair, stands about, oh, yea high. Anyway, she’s rather crazy, and for M’aiq to call someone else crazy? That’s certainly just, well, you know…anyway. Sithis and the Night Mother don’t like her and want her gone. Do this, and they’ll love you enough to want you in the family, even if M’aiq doesn’t. Ha, he jests! Now go, and when you have done this, come back here and tell the good Khajiit all about it."

Herius listens to the Khajiit's request. It seemed like a simple objective for someone with the power of Herius.
"Alright I'm on my way right now. Meet be back here in one hour I'll be done." Herius said as he walked away from the graveyard and began to walk towards the cave.

"An hour?" chuckled M'aiq to himself. "M'aiq certainly does love how gung-ho new recruits are. The Khajiit was there once."
He paused as he glanced down at the tombstone he was standing next to.
"Isn't that right?" the Khajiit inquired rhetorically. "Well, M'aiq can wait an hour. So...Dead in 3E 420, would you like to hear about the time M'aiq killed a fisherman? Of course you would..."
He proceeded in telling the tombstone the entire story, exaggerating every detail he could, because after all, he wouldn't be called out on any of it.

Herius walks back into the Graveyard after doing the task requested. He sees the Khajiit talking to a tombstone about killing a Fisherman. Herius thought this was weird, but he was nice enough to keep it to himself.
"Speaker, the task is done." Herius said as he looked at the blood on his hands.

M'aiq looked up from he tombstone he'd been chatting with for the past hour. The man had spoken the truth; he was back in an hour.
"Well, glad to hear it. Sithis more than M'aiq, of course. You'll find your home in the basement of the old Blackwood Company building. Great to have you in the family...eh, what's your name?"

Herius is glad that he had finally been accepted to the Brotherhood. Herius then replied to the question. "My name is Herius Lester, and thank you for accepting me into your Sanctuary. This may be the first time we have met, but it seems like I have known you for a long time.
(OOC:Last sentence was to just make things seem weird. Maybe Herius is the reincarnation of Shady or whatever it is called lol)

(Hah, okay. That sounds cool.)
M'aiq perked his brows and replied, "A long time? Well, M'aiq hasn't gotten that one before. He's gotten, 'You look like the Khajiit who stole my calipers' a lot, and even once, 'Hey, were you the guy who ate my baby?' but he hasn't heard that one before. First time for everything, right? Right. Well, on you go. Unless you'd like to stay and hear some of M'aiq's stories."
The Khajiit grinned slightly as he placed his hands in his pockets and looked down at the tombstones.

Herius looks shocked as he hears about the Khajiit's stories.
"Um...well...uh...Oh! Look at the time well I really should be going right about now." Herius said as he began to run away and left the Khajiit all alone in the graveyard. "Poor Tombstones" Herius thought to himself.

M'aiq laughed a bit as he leaned against the stone wall again. He jumped up, hissing slightly.
"The Nine curse this wall!" he shouted as he wiped at his re-wetted robe.
A ghastly apparition appeared next to M'aiq and said, "Great Khajiit, tell me again how you single-handedly defeated the Bosmer army at the Great Valenwood Conflict of 3E 419!"
"Well, I'd like to, Passed Away in 3E 430, but I need to get back home and change my robe. Tomorrow night, 430, tomorrow."
"Aw, okay," replied the apparition as it faded away.
M'aiq replaced his hands in his pockets and walked back to his sanctuary, glad to have one more member in his family.
