I saw the bones moving with such power and, thought to myself that this sanctuary is well defended I should of known better.
Then I suddenly felt Speaker M’aiq’s fist land against my head. I suddenly thought to myself as I began rubbing the back of my head. ‘Good going moron, that little stunt may have costs you your next promotion’.
“Sorry, most honorable Speaker. I wasn’t thinking and, I didn’t mean to give you disrespect. It will never happen again I can assure you that.” I told Speaker M’aiq.
I stared off into space as Ralen and M’aiq were speaking until I heard that Speaker Jiub had been taken away by other Dunmer from Vvardenfell. I also heard Ralen say see was sorry for offending me.
“No offense taken. I’m not even for that region of Morrowind anyway.” I said with a smile.
Then I got to wondering why was he even taken in the first place? Hmm, perhaps I should ask.
“Why was Speaker Jiub taken anyway?” I asked with a puzzled look on my face.

Ralen shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. He never tells me anything." The little Bosmer replied, with a hint of a pout on her face. "Don't think he likes me much. I really wonder why though." She let out a thearatical sigh. Reaching over to a mug, she poured some skooma, and took a sip.
"Nice stuff, skooma." She remarked.
"Say, M'aiq, am I allowed to join two Sanctuaries? Jiub never lets me drink skooma, and now that he's dissapeared, there's nothing for me to do in Anvil..."

M'aiq rubbed his chin in thought. He had no idea honestly and knew thinking about the question wouldn't bring any answers, but he liked the pose. He kept it on for a few more seconds.
He finally took a small breath and said, "...M'aiq doesn't know. He doesn't know many book-rule type words. He's sure the humans were the ones who wrote all that sort of stuff. He hasn't read any of it. Speaker Shady knew." His last three words were said in a low tone, his thoughts reverting back to the time when he was but a mere Silencer.
"For the time being," said M'aiq shrugging, "the Khajiit guesses you can stay here and do some work. He doesn't mind." He added with a laugh, "Also, there is much Skooma to be found here in Leyawiin."
He nodded to the Dunmer and said with a smile, "You, too, are welcome to stay also."

"Oh, good!" Ralen exclaimed cheerfully, clapping her hands together. She took another drink from her bottle of Skooma.
"Say, isn't there an intitiation quest/mission/contract of some sort?" The Bosmer asked curiously, after she finished her drink. She set her bottle on the table, and kept a wary eye on Thanatos, as if daring him to steal her precious Skooma.

M'aiq nodded to the Bosmer and said, "Ah, yes. That's right. If the Bosmer wishes to stay, she'll need some quest papers. Ah, papers, papers, papers. M'aiq surely hates papers." As he sifted through his desk for a quest sheet, he continued, "You know, M'aiq could only hate a paper more if it had a spider on it, even if it was drawn. There's--oh, here's a quest the Bosmer should be able to handle!"
M'aiq then handed her a note with the following written on it:
Think of the Children! An old, rather weighty Dunmer seems to be causing a stir in Chorrol. He likes children. Well, he, um, likes them likes them, and everyday, he sits by the statue at the front of town waiting for children to come around. This has local mothers worried. They’ve secretly banned together and asked the Dark Brotherhood to rid Chorrol of Jykel Maksen, resident pedophile. For a bonus, be sure his corpse isn’t seen by the children. Award: 450 septims. Bonus: ????
"Good luck with that. Poor kids," M'aiq mumbled.

Tongue between teeth, Ralen scanned the paper, looking throughly confused. "Um, Speaker, I just wonder what pedophile means? And do I have to travel all the way to Chorrol? The local Fighters Guild seem to...mmm....always be chasing after me."
The little Bosmer shook her head sadly. She never got why the Fighters Guild always seem to be on the lookout for her. It wasn't as if she had caused any trouble aside from stealing stuff and assassinating a few people here and there.
Odd little Imperials.

Once Ralen set down her bottle of skooma she gave a nastly look that I dare not ever cross. It also seems that when Ralen was given her contract she didn't like its location. Most likely because she has trouble with the Fighters Guild there.
"Ralen, don't worry about them. If you need help getting around them, I have an old friend whom should be willing to help. His name is Bozzmer, he's an Argonian with some 'mential problems' but, that won't stop him if you should ask him. Oh, and if your going to ask for his help make sure you ask him at night."
With that I'm certain that she won't have a problem with the Fighters Guild in the city.

"Uh, sure, sure." Ralen said distractedly, already wondering what tactics she ought to use. Or, if she would as per usual, forsake the bonus. Odd things, bonuses. Too unpredictable, especially when there were loads of question marks next to that categoory. Still, sane was boring. As was normalcy.
"Say, Bozzmer sounds a lot like Bosmer, no? You sure you've got the name correct?" Ralen suddenly asked, gazing with renewed interest at Thanatos. Perhaps this contract wouldn't be as bad as she had originally thought. At least it ought to be interesting...

"I'm positive I have his name correct it's Bozzmer but, like I had said before he is an Argonian a very odd Argonian but, an Argonian just the same. Actually I think he was blessed by Sheogorath once..."
I really didn't want to tell her about all the juciey details about Bozzmer for she would find out all by her self in due time. However I decided to stay quite for the moment to see what she had to say.

Ralen shrugged. "If you say so!" Was her only reply. She didn't much care for the daedra, or whatever he was. Pfft. Silly humans with their silly religions. She stood up abruptly, pocketing the paper.
"Well, best be off now. Imperials to rob, Dunmer to kill. See you later then, M'aiq, Thanatos."
With that, she pranced off, as cheerfully as she had came.

((Sorry for double posting, but it'll be too confusing otherwise.))
A few days later, Ralen waltzed back into the Sanctuary, with her report in one hand, and a bottle of Skooma in another. She grinned cheekily at M'aiq.
"Finished!" She declared, practically throwing her report at the Khajiit.
The little Bosmer sat down to enjoy her Skooma.

(Not a problem.)
M'aiq was half asleep at his desk. Someone had stolen all of his pebbles. There was nothing to stack, and working presented itself as an unlikely option. He rested his head on his hand and started to close his eyes. Just as his mind was growing fuzzy on the edge of unconsciousness, a perky voice suddenly ripped him from his desired sleep.
He opened his eyes and glanced down at a paper with writing on it. He didn't quite understand what it was. M'aiq certainly wasn't going to read it by any means. He picked it up, turned it, and then put it back on his desk. He reached in a drawer and pulled out some moon sugar, placing the crystals on the paper. He then folded up the paper and slid it back into the drawer.
"Thanks," said M'aiq in a low tone, "he needed...paper."
He thought for a moment, realizing that the Bosmer had just said she was finished. He pondered, With what? Finshed with dinner? She doesn't need to tell M'aiq such a thing. Finished with being a Bosmer? He could arrange that. Oh, M'aiq gave her a quest, didn't he? Let's see what trinket M'aiq has to give away today. He went through his chest and found the money as well as an amulet he guessed was the one meant for the quest.
"Well," he said, "here's 450 septims, as promised. Also the Pendant of the Mother, which oddly enough increases your ability to fight in unarmed combat. Good work, Bosmer. You are welcome to stay in Leyawiin Sanctuary as long as you like. Perhaps the Khajiit will have more contracts later. You can go now; M'aiq needs to find a new hobby."

Alderon entered into the room where M'aiq and a Bosmer female were talking. He walked up to them, ready to apologize for his long absence.
He had gotten overjoyed with his Mages Guild quests recently, leaving the Brotherhood's duties behind him temporarily. He couldn't remember if he had a contract to complete, but he doubted it. And if he did, it was done a long time ago.
"Speaker, I apologize for my long absence from the Sanctuary. I had to keep up.. appearances at the Mages Guild, for I could not disappear for long without someone trying to find me. I will be here for now, and will let you know next time of anymore absences such as this one." Alderon said, giving M'aiq an apologetic look.
"Do you have any contracts currently available?" Alderon asked before turning to the Bosmer.
"Greetings, Sister. I am Alderon Morvaain. Who might you be?" Alderon asked with a small smile on his face.
He was happy that the Sanctuary was quickly filling up with more Sisters and Brothers. Hopefully there were no odd animals here.. for then he would have a problem with the new Sisters and Brothers.
But for now, no problems.
