No topics on this forum yet? You people disgust me.... </jest so don't hurt me!> Disgust aside.
What are your favourite novels or series? I'll go first!
I like the fantasy ones best. These include... Malazan Book of the Fallen. A Song of Ice and Fire. The Three Worlds Cycles. (which is made up of three or so series) Wheel of Time. Harry Potter.
And possibly more.
But now it's your turn!

I like the Halo novels. However, I probably shouldn't list them since I've been too lazy to even read Ghosts of Onyx which I've had for-like-ever now.
You know what I will say? GOOSEBUMPS. Because I can. I read the sh*t out of that series. (I still do. However, my English AP teacher gives me a sad face when I tell him this. i duno y? its a gud serri3z. ful off pr0f0und go5t stoeris.)
Anyway, I'm more of a play-reader than a novel-reader these days, so that's why I have little to speak of. I speak anyway though because I very much like to see my own text.
...Wow, it's gorgeous, isn't it? Lawlz.

I've only ever seen two Goosebump stories. Seen. On TV.
That puppet one creeped me out and put me off watching them. And off puppets as well. Damn their eyes!
Well, a post by M'aiq is better then no post at all! >.>

My eyes! Why would you do that!? *puts on sunglasses*
The first Deltora Quest series were the best. They had quite a few interesting twists.
Dragonlance? I only read the first series, then couldn't be bothered reading the rest. =/

Ooh, Deltora Quest. I think I stole most of those from my brother a while back The Halo novels were better than I expected (save for The Flood, which was pretty lame); and I think that the only thing that rivalled my Goosebumps collection was that Animorphs series. Still, the best thing I ever read was the Dune series. A bit long and wordy, but fsking awesome nonetheless. I'm currently looking for some of Andrzej Sapkowski's books, seeing as The Witcher has become my new RPG. The only problem is that they're all in Polish ;_;

ANIMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORPHS..... *drools* I still need to read 'The Absolute' and 'The Time of Dinasaurs' or whatever it's called again, then I'm done with the whole series. I think.

Haha, I totally forgot about Animorphs. I didn't read any of the books. (There was a show too, right?) I just remember they had that awesome cool flippy thing where you could go through the pages fast and there was like an animorph thing morphing. That was cool.

Yep, it's at the bottom of most Animorph books. Or something. There was a show, but I never watched it. >.<
Oh and I'm back to being a Warriors obsessed-fangirl as well as a Redwall one.

Well to be honest... I can't ever remember ever reading a whole series... Well in terms of Fantasy at least... I think I have read some forgotten realms... You know, with Drizzt and what not? But other than that... I would have to say....The Lord of the Rings... in terms of series...
OWNED!
hehe not really... I tend to read pretty randomly... from philosophy to just plain old fiction. Chuck Palahniuk used to be one of my favourite authors...Until I read Haunted... Now he's just all about the shock value and sales...
That being said Fight Club FTW!!

Omg, Sara Douglass all the way. If she isn't the best Australian Fantasy author ever than you can butter my butt and call me a biscuit. I can't decide which book is the best, but i think the Troy Game series is fabulous and her new books are great. The Twisted Citadel was just released in aus on the 1st of july. Seriously check her out ppls. Start with the book Battleaxe though...
